And we’re off again. It doesn’t seem that long since Andalucia – mainly because it isn’t!
Anyway, driving through France this time. And, much to Eileen’s horror, out come the trusty driving shoes – I reckon about 20 years old, but super comfy.
Although it opened in 1994, we have never taken the car through the tunnel, so a first for us. Had to keep up with the British Lions via the website, as the only commentary we could find was in Welsh. And then here we go.

And then, after 460 miles, arrived in Loches. It’s a long drive, although with the cruise control set at 80 (legal) and no queues at the tolls, we made it in well under 6 hours from Calais.
Brilliant host through Airbnb (basically left us a full fridge and freezer), and then headed out for a wander.
