A late summer long weekend. The sharp-eyed will notice as this blog takes shape that we’re actually in Somerset, not Kent. But it’s near enough!
M25 being its usual helpful self, but all well until Stonehenge – the A303 is notorious around there. Anyway, eventually arrived at Stourhead for a coffee. Torrential rain meant coffee turned into lunch (usual NT fayre, so very reliable!).
Stourhead terrific – must come back in the Autumn as well.
Then on to a few miles outside Glastonbury for our last-minute cowshed – actually very smart with a reasonable view from the terrace.
Then to Wells for dinner and a stroll.
