Sometimes you just can’t compete.
But we had a nice enough time. Forecast for Wednesday was essentially rain all afternoon so we headed off early to Llangollen. Hadn’t started when we arrived, so had a walk which was lovely.

Still no rain so another walk by the canal and lunch.
Still no rain, so did a detour to Oswestry which sounded lovely but wasn’t.
Still no rain so able to sit outside at the house and enjoy the fabulous view.
But, whichever way you look at it, not a patch on NE Greenland.
