I did say we would be out of wifi for a while, and we still are. Since Nelson we moved on to the Marlborough Sounds (fabulous ), then got the early morning Ferry to the North Island. It’s New Years Eve and we’re in Napier. Jo has hooked up with a Kiwi friend for beach celebrations; Eileen and I may be more sedate.
